Henry B. Plant Museum - Tampa Information

Henry B. Plant Museum

The Henry B. Plant Museum, housed in the Tampa Bay Hotel, is the former mansion of industrial magnate Henry B. Plant. Built in 1891, the hotel with its Moorish architecture and spiraling minarets was created as a resort for the rich and affluent. Now a museum and a National Historic Landmark, visitors can see exquisite art, elegant furnishings and the opulent grandeur of the Gilded Age.
