Hands-on exhibits explore Texas history, natural science and anthropology. One display focuses on the ecological diversity of the state's seven natural areas. A dinosaur exhibit displays the life-size reproduction of a triceratops skeleton. Another display gives insight to the culture and cave paintings of a prehistoric society that flourished in the area more than 8,000 years ago.
