For some budget tips, see our Budget Travel Tips below.

Getting Oriented in Disney World. Deciding what to do and where to go can be a daunting task, and a little pre-planning can make your experience much more enjoyable, particularly if you are visiting Disney during peak times when the parks can get very crowded.

Tip! Disney Vacation Planning Hints: Generally, school, holidays and winter vacation times are extremely busy and crowded. The low season for visitors is generally in July and August, and other light periods are after Labor Day in September and running through November, the week leading up to Halloween and Thanksgiving period being the exceptions. Also, picking an off-peak time to visit, if you have the flexibility, can make your experience more enjoyable. Visiting during the summer has it drawbacks, because it can get oppressively hot in Orlando, Fl.
