As a prominent icon in Atlanta, CNN delivers news to over one billion viewers worldwide. Residing in the CNN Center, formerly known as the Omni International Complex and purchased by Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. (TBS) in 1985, Inside CNN Atlanta opened CNN Studio Tours in 1987, a 50-minutes guided tour through CNN's state-of-the arts studios and facilities.
The Tour takes visitors, more than 300,000 each year, into the Control Room Theater to take a look at a re-creation of the newsroom where 24-hour news is made live. In the Exhibit Area, you will travel 20 years to the past to the top 100 news stories covered by CNN.
Another feature of the tour takes you into the Special Effects Studio for a demonstration on how those images appear behind the anchors and correspondents. You can also see what it's like to be a real news broadcaster, create a video reading real news stories behind the news desk and in front of the interactive TelePrompTer or have your picture taken with an electronically inserted photo of your favorite TBS personality. In the Finale, you will be treated to a special presentation of all of the networks that are also part of the Turner Broadcasting Family, such as TBS, TNT and the Cartoon Network.
The CNN Center, with over 100,000 square feet of restaurants and retail businesses, is also home to a movie theater, gift and specialty shops and an atrium.

From the North
Take I-75/85 South to Williams Street exit (249 C), turn right on International Blvd., then left onto Centennial Olympic Park Drive. Cross over Marietta Street -- CNN Center is on your right.
From the West
Take I-20 East to Spring Street exit (56B), turn left onto Spring Street. Take Spring Street to Marietta Street, turn left. CNN Center is on the corner of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Marietta Street.
From the East
Take I-20 West to Spring Street exit (56B), turn right onto Spring Street. Take Spring Street to Marietta Street, turn left. CNN Center is on the corner of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Marietta Street.
